Our coding bootcamp job placement services are highly successful, run by seasoned IT Career Coaches and earning us a 93% job placement rate. Our career advisers help every step of the way – throughout the entire life cycle of the hiring process. We’re there until that first job is landed.

An entire week, “Employment Week”, is devoted to coaching you, our bootcamper / job seeker, on everything from resume writing to negotiating your new salary!

You will participate in group and one-on-one coaching sessions. Our group sessions include guest speakers from high profile corporations, community leaders active in the Cincinnati tech scene, career counselors, area recruiters/staffing agencies, and boot camp alums. Job placement services for coding boot campers includes the following:

  • Resume writing: writing accomplishment driven resumes

  • Interviewing skills: behavioral interviewing techniques, technical interviewing, and mock interviewing practice

  • Profiling your work on GitHub or an Internet repository to demonstrate project-based work completed in the bootcamp

  • Networking: building a strong LinkedIn profile, attending meetup events and professional meetings to increase visibility

  • Local area company knowledge: identifying companies using the skill sets taught in the bootcamp and reaching out to the hiring managers/recruiters at those companies

  • Company Research: a reference librarian provides a seminar on using the free databases provided through the Hamilton County library system to gain more knowledge about companies locally as well as throughout the country.  Boot campers have a more robust list of potential companies and can be proactive in their job search.

  • Insider Knowledge about IT Hiring Practices: Tech leaders present to the bootcampers about the goals they have for their teams, strategies for achieving those goals, and their hiring practices for bringing on new talent

  • Strengths Finder & Emotional Intelligence:

  • LinkedIn Personal Branding:
  • Reverse Job Fair – Meet & Greet Event: area hiring managers, recruiters, and community leaders are invited to our facility to meet our bootcampers, interview them one on one, and help them as they work toward attaining their first job in the field

If you’re interested in our Career Bootcamps and you have questions about the hiring process and career services, give us a call. You can reach out to Annette Ballard or Kevin Newkirk directly to ask as many questions as you’d like. We often connect potential students with our alumni so you can get a first-hand account of their experience.

At the end of each bootcamp our students present the compilation of their work in a group presentation for our hiring partners. You start the hiring event by networking with our connections and finish with speed interviews. You can invite your family and friends to join in the culmination of all your hard work. If your curious about our Demo Day register for one of our upcoming Demo Day Events.
