Creating Reports with Report Builder

Alert Me

Description

This 3 day instructor-led course is geared towards business analysts and data consumers who need to be able to create reports based on a SQL Server report server. This class focuses on using the Report Builder tool. The SSRS for Report Writers uses both tools. If you have access to Report Designer (SQL Server Data Tools or SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio), you should consider taking the SSRS SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services class. Additionally, if you are using SQL Server Analysis Services and would like exposure to developing reports based on a cube, the SSRS class would be a great benefit for you also.

Key topics all attendees will be able to do at course completion:

  • Create reports that include tables, matrices, charts, and lists.
  • Format reports
  • Use expressions and parameters to create dynamic reports
  • Group data to create drill-down reports
