- WHAT BOOTCAMPS DOES MAX OFFER?
The demand for professionals with advanced technology training has far outgrown the supply. Companies around the globe have turned to alternative talent streams in order to fulfill their staffing needs. Our partners rely on MAX for grads because they start day one driven and prepared. The bootcamp experience is challenging and rewarding. You’ll build relationships with your classmates, a genuine connection with your instructor, and you’re always family at MAX. You’ll receive everything you need to take the bootcamp when you show up for your first day. All you need is the drive and attitude to complete the course. Throughout your bootcamp you’ll be building your capstone project and preparing for your Graduate Demo Day and Hiring event.
All MAX Career Bootcamps are full-time 11-week, Monday thru Friday courses. We offer Coding & Career Bootcamps for both JAVA and .NET technologies. Our JAVA bootcamp is offered in a 25-week part-time course designed for people who need to maintain their employment. Our Business Analyst Bootcamp is new to our lineup and will feed the next in-demand position. We encourage our potential bootcamp students to first decide which bootcamp fits their lifestyle.
- WHAT’S IT LIKE IN A BOOTCAMP?
Your bootcamp is never out-of-the-box. Your instructor has designed a custom training program specifically focused on bringing field relevant methods and skills that will prepare you for your new career. The bootcamp is accelerated learning and depending on your bootcamp of choice the dedicated hours per week for the bootcamp can change. Here’s how the weekly time schedule breakdown for our bootcamp students.
Each week throughout your training you will be creating and progressing through your capstone project. You will consume new technologies, skills, and strategies each day. Those will be implemented in the next class and you will continue to add new tech. In the Full-time coding bootcamp there are more than 12 types of technology you will become familiar with. In addition to your tech training you will gain career skills that will help you land the job you’ve been working hard for.
- TELL ME ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY
JAVA and .NET technologies are in applications created and used by companies around the world. Software development requires skills in database development, C# and JAVA languages, HTML, CSS, and advanced frameworks. Our curriculum is built to give you foundational knowledge in all these subjects and more. View our detailed curriculum technology breakdown here. The majority of curriculum hours are dedicated to the core language of either JAVA or .NET depending on your bootcamp selection. - THE SKILLS OF TOMORROW
Beyond the ones and zeros, the developers of tomorrow must be able to work in dynamic groups and our hiring partners are looking for a well-rounded cadidate. In your bootcamp we’ll cover project management strategies that are essential to communicating with your team. You’ll spend time in Agile, Angular, and Scrum. You’ll be prepared to study and sit for your Scrum.org certification after graduation and your Scrum exam cost is included in your bootcamp. We want to put you in position not only meet but Exceed Expectations.
- THE NEXT IN-DEMAND PROFESSION
The Business Analyst Bootcamp is the next in-demand profession driven by the need for companies to understand and deliver data. Every industry from logistics to manufacturing are experiencing an overload in data and their competitive advantage relies on their ability control it. The business analyst bootcamp will prepare you to sit for your IIBA certification exam and add to your professional value.
- A RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT
We understand the lifestyle change and investment required to complete our bootcamp training. You need the skills and time you’ve put into the training to pay off. The career advisement you receive puts you in the position to earn your spot in a company of your choice. Your preparation will include completing the Strengths Finder Assessment, Peer Mock Interviews, Emotional Intelligence training, and Group Coaching.
Your career team will also prepare for the Graduate Demo Day and Hiring Partner interview event. During this event you will present your Capstone Project with your fellow bootcamp students, participate in the hiring event networking session and speed interviews. At the end of each year we have a third-party company certify our graduate statistics and outcomes. In 2018, 100% of our job eligible graduates were place in new IT careers.
The first step in applying to a MAX Career Bootcamp is to either give our Bootcamp Success Specialist a call or register for one of our Bootcamp Breakdown sessions here. We’d like to get to know you and tell you a little bit about who we are first. Next, you’ll be required to complete an evaluation assessment at our facility. We’ll also ask you to show us how fast you can type. Once you’ve completed your admissions testing you’ll spend time with us during your advisor interview. If your accepted, you’ll select your bootcamp and let us know how you’ll be financing your bootcamp. We’ll have your computer and seat waiting for you on the first day.
