Being a technical trainer and consultant allows me to fulfill my personal and professional goal to bridge the gap between business needs and the working software employed to fit those needs.
With over 17 years of experience as a speaker, technical trainer, solution architect, business analyst, project manager, software developer and manager, I  enjoy teaching technology to IT professionals. My technical focus is in the Microsoft technical stack with specialties in .NET, SharePoint, SQL Server and Office 365.
As an instructor, I also seek to make technology easier to understand and more accessible to individuals at all levels of technical knowledge.  I have a Masters in communications from Morehead State University.  My Microsoft certifications include MCP, MCSD, MS, MCITP, MCPD, MCTS, MCAD, MCDBA, and MCT.
When I’m not wearing my geek hats, I like spending time with my wife and 8-year-old son.  This means a lot of baseball and soccer games, and plenty of Xbox.  When I have the time for it, I love to play the drums, read American history, create a few charcoal drawings and try to cook the latest thing I’ve seen on Food Network.
